How to get there (and enjoy the beautiful surroundings along the way):
Walk for 7 minutes from Kontraskjæret tram stop (see route on map)
Walk for 10 minutes from the bus stop at Vippetangen (see box on map)
Walk for 13 minutes from the metro stop at the Nationaltheater (see route on map)

Walk from the nearest tram stop (Kontraskjæret)
Length: 7 minute walk
Get off at the Kontraskjæret tram stop at Rådhusplassen, and stroll along Festningskaia to the first pier you see at the foot of Akershus Fortress. Maybe you'll pass Oslo's great pride, the full-rigger Christian Radich on the way? In any case, you're guaranteed to get a wonderful taste of the city's maritime life, where beautiful boats and traditional ships are moored in droves in the harbor basin.
Walk from the nearest bus stop (Vippetangen)
Length: 10 minute walk
Get off at the Vippetangen bus stop, and stroll past restaurants, beautiful coastal scenery and boating until you reach the foot of Akershus Fortress! At the far end of the pier are the ships that will take you out on your fjord adventure.
Walk from the nearest metro stop (Nationaltheateret)
Length: 13 minute walk
Get off at the Nationaltheateret, across Rådhusplassen, and stroll along Festningskaia to the first pier you see at the foot of Akershus Fortress.
