    Why be stationed in one place, when you can rent floating party venues and have the party on a sailing ship in the Oslo Fjord? 

    The family business behind Skuter i Særklasse has a long tradition of boat charters with catering on the Oslofjord, and warmly welcomes new guests aboard. Our boats can accommodate groups of between 20-180 guests, and are staffed with both skippers, sailors and catering personnel who are ready to give you an unforgettable experience on the Oslofjord!

  • A classic baptism party on the fjord

    A christening aboard our ships starts with the party guests meeting up at an agreed-upon pier in central Oslo, or at another suitable location in the fjord.

    From there we go out for a walk, and find a nice and warm cove where we anchor to serve delicious food and drinks. Both ships have plenty of seating both inside and outside. Some also want to dock at an agreed pier for activities and fun on land, while others find swimwear for a refreshing dive. Both ships have plenty of seating both inside and outside.

Informal and beautiful christening

When the crew's own toddlers, Ingrid and Noah, were to be baptized, the family gathered for a party and ceremony aboard the sailing ship Vega in Dalsfjorden in Western Norway. It was a gathering for the history books, with delicious food and a beautiful view: a perfect combination of formal celebration in an otherwise informal setting. Of course, the guests also got to try their hand at being a crew member, and several set sail in their traditional Norwegian national costume!
