Ash spreading on the Oslofjord

For many, the classic funeral is not suitable, while the need for a beautiful and formal ceremony is just as great. Scattering ashes is a good alternative.

The family business behind Skuter i Særklasse has a long tradition of boat charters with catering on the Oslofjord, and warmly welcomes new guests aboard. Our boats can accommodate groups of between 20-180 guests, and are staffed with both skippers, sailors and catering personnel who are ready to give you an unforgettable experience on the Oslofjord!

The party guests meet at an agreed-upon pier in central Oslo, or at another suitable location in the fjord. 

Many people want a ceremony and/or singing and music as a setting for the scattering of ashes. After the ceremony, we often sail to a nice, sheltered cove where we anchor for food and drinks. Both ships have plenty of seating both inside and out.

After completing the trip, we will sail you safely to an agreed port.
